Each year the roadhouse offers a few events that the whole community can come and be part of.

The GARDEN TEA takes place in July.  There is a variety of delicate sandwiches and sweets with tea.  Along with delightful conversation with friends. There are door prizes and numerous bucket drawing items. All the proceeds benefit the upkeep and maintenance of the roadhouse.

Inside the roadhouse delighted hearts arrive to find lace covered tables adorned with fresh garden flowers, pretty china place settings and all of the beauty and elegance of a time gone by…the simplicity of gathering with friends to enjoy a cup of tea or more properly known as “afternoon tea.:” This tradition is a treasure to me and I am so thankful for my dear garden friends and others who pitched in this year to make my dream of serving tea in simple sophistication come true.

Soup at the Sullivan Roadhouse Museum (SRM) happens in August
Features:
• “garden fresh” home made soups
• fresh baked breads
• home made ice cream

Weather permitting, some guests prefer to sit outside amongst the gardens.

This FREE event is proudly sponsored by the Delta Chamber of Commerce and friends of the SRM.

Donations are welcome – proceeds go towards the care of the SRM gardens and grounds.
